Warranty Policy

1. Warranty Coverage

1.1 Frame Warranty: 3 Years
The e bicycle frame is warranted against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for 3 years from the original date of purchase, under normal recreational use.

1.2 Component Warranty: 1 Year
The following original components are warranted against manufacturing defects for 1 year from the original date of purchase:
- Hydraulic brake systems
- Front fork and rear shock
- Stem, handlebar, headset and seat post
- Bottom bracket and crankset
- Shifting system (derailleurs, shifters)
- Rear rack (if included).

2. What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover damage caused by:
- Accidents, collisions, falls, stunts, jumps or abusive use.
- Commercial rental use, competitive racing or extreme riding beyond the intended purpose of the bike.
- Improper assembly, unauthorized modification, or installation of non-original / incompatible parts.
- Failure to perform routine maintenance as specified in the owner's manual.
- Normal wear and tear (tires, brake pads, brake rotors, chains, inner tubes, bearings, grips, saddle, etc.)
- Natural corrosion, environmental damage, or acts of God.
- Damage caused during return shipment without our prior approval.
- Bicycles purchased from unauthorized sellers or third-party resellers

3. How to File a Warranty Claim

All warranty claims must be submitted through our official support channel:
1. Email us at support@cyctracebike.com with your order number, detailed description of the issue, and supporting photos or videos.
2. Our support team and certified mechanics will review your claim within 48 business hours.
3. If further diagnosis is needed, we will guide you through simple tests.
4. For confirmed manufacturing defects, we will arrange free replacement parts.

4. Shipping Damage Claims

- All shipping damage claims must be submitted within 14 calendar days from the date of delivery.
- Please inspect the package immediately upon delivery. If there is visible damage to the outer packaging, note it on the delivery receipt before signing.
- Keep all original packaging and shipping documents until the claim is fully resolved.

5. Chargeback Disputes

Filing a chargeback does not affect your statutory warranty rights for genuine manufacturing defects. However, during an active chargeback investigation, we may pause order-related services such as replacement shipments until the dispute is fully resolved.

6. Safety Notice

Riding any bicycle involves inherent risks, including the risk of serious injury or death. It is your responsibility to ride safely, obey local traffic laws, and wear appropriate safety gear including a certified helmet. Due to long-distance international transportation, some components may require fine-tuning after receipt. We strongly recommend having the bicycle assembled and fully inspected by a certified bicycle mechanic before your first ride.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, cyctracebike.com, Shenzhen First Technology Co., Ltd. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our products.
Nothing in this policy shall limit or exclude our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, defective products under applicable mandatory product liability laws, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
